Mission and strategy

WIC invests in listed and unlisted mid caps featuring forefront positions in their respective markets with good growth potential.

WIC acquires minority interests with the aim of truly accompanying the entrepreneurs and management in the process of growth and value creation.

WIC is not a fund and has a real medium - long term perspective.

WIC has a flexible approach also about the potential way out.

WIC invests under two different schemes: direct investments and club deals (i.e. investments carried out together with some other entrepreneurs/investors).

WIC identifies the companies considering:

management quality and reliability;
existence of distinctive commercial and industrial features ("excellence");
concrete possibilities of playing an active shareholder role;
possible developments in terms of business or ownership structure.

WIC prefers to investments via dedicated capital increases or purchases of major shareholdings.

WIC leaves operating management to the enterpreneurs, with whom it sometimes makes governance agreements.

MISSIONE E STRATEGIA

WIC investe in società di medie dimensioni, quotate e non quotate, con posizioni di rilievo nei rispettivi mercati di riferimento e con buon potenziale di crescita.

WIC acquisisce quote di minoranza con l’obiettivo di affiancare veramente imprenditori e manager nella crescita e nella progressiva valorizzazione.
WIC ha un’ottica di medio periodo
WIC non pretende way-out garantite
WIC individua le società in cui investe tenendo conto, oltre che dei potenziali di crescita, di:

qualità ed affidabilità del management
esistenza di peculiarità commerciali ed industriali (“eccellenze”)
possibilità concrete di avere un ruolo di socio attivo
possibili evoluzioni aziendali o nella struttura azionaria

WIC privilegia investimenti tramite aumenti di capitale riservati o acquisti di pacchetti azionari rilevanti.
WIC lascia la gestione operativa all’imprenditore/manager con cui talvolta sottoscrive patti di governance.
